The Charlottetown Farmers’ Market is the weekly gathering place for Islanders who love to nosh and chat over fresh, local and delicious foods. It’s also a great place to gather up the makings of a delicious picnic.
You’ll meet some of the fascinating folks who make the Market such an eclectic place to spend a morning.
Along the way you’ll try some cider made by a local apple grower and spice things up with a speciality sausage on a bun with all the fixings.
Meet the organic farmer who has the Island’s only peach tree and sample the tantalising preserves his wife makes.
We’ll pick up some Island cheese and artisan bread for our picnic before stopping for African samosas.
After grabbing a bottle of Kombucha fermented from local organic fruits and vegetables we’ll turn you loose with some Market Money to pick up whatever else you want for your picnic lunch at our private tables.
