The Oyster Deck experience, hosted by John Petcoff and Chef Coranna Bostock is a small, intimate mid-afternoon event situated on the Oyster Deck at Cascumpec Bay Oyster Co, which overlooks the quaint Trout River.  The hosts along with owner of Cascumpec Bay Oyster Co, Martin O’Brien will host a small group of 60 people who will be outdoors with several roving stations featuring different oyster dishes (raw, grilled, open fire) and a luncheon prepared by Chef Coranna.  Guests can interact with the hosts and get educated on oysters, or can sit by the fire and enjoy the serenity of the river.  

An outdoorsy, oyster-centric event while overlooking the peaceful Trout River while engaging closely with the hosts.  We will have multiple wood fires for people to congregate near, and multiple food and drink stations. Our guests last year really enjoyed the serenity, fires, and deep conversations with our experts.  

Learn about the PEI oyster fishery past and present while getting a shucking demonstration from “The Oyster Expert”, John Petcoff plus gain valuable tips on purchasing, preparing and serving both raw and cooked oysters.
