Charlottetown, July 12, 2023 – Prince Edward Island, known as Canada’s Food Island, is set to host a culinary experience like no other. Prepare to indulge your senses from October 1-15, 2023, as the highly anticipated PEI Fall Flavours Food & Drink Festival, proudly presented by Sobeys, unveils a two-week festival featuring some of your favourite local curators of renowned Island cuisine and craft beverages. This festival promises to feed your soul on a remarkable culinary journey, captivating your taste buds, delighting food and drink enthusiasts, and creating unforgettable memories. This October, we cheers to 15 years of celebrating the PEI Fall Flavours Food & Drink Festival. Now with a fresh new look and new events, always celebrating the best of PEI, Canada’s Food Island.

The PEI Fall Flavours Food & Drink Festival will showcase the absolute best of PEI food and drink, featuring over 20 events spread across communities from tip to tip. Both visitors and locals can look forward to a lineup of exciting new events and curated weekends, all hosted by small businesses and local producers who embody the essence of our brand promise: a unique food-centered experience.

“The Fall Flavours festival highlights the Island’s authentic tastes and traditions while inviting guests to experience the individuality of each of our Island communities,” said Minister of Fisheries, Tourism, Sport and Culture, Cory Deagle. “Over its 15 years, Fall Flavours has grown to attract guests from near and far. As we continue to develop our province as a four-season destination, Fall Flavours will be an important anchor event.”

Established in 2007, it has grown over the past 15 years to become an award-winning, internationally reputed culinary festival. In 2019, the festival won the Restaurants Canada & Diversey Culinary Tourism Award at the 2019 Canadian Tourism Awards.
