The Details

Beef & Brews is an elevated culinary experience showcasing premium island beef, seasonal ingredients, and expertly paired local brews. Hosted by Chef Ilona Daniel, the event brings people together in a vibrant, social atmosphere while highlighting Island beef farmers, local chefs, brewers, and musical talent. Guests will explore bold flavours, local products, and thoughtfully crafted dishes throughout the evening.

Guests can look forward to an engaging and social evening filled with exceptional food, local beverages, and live entertainment. Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of beef dishes, enjoy local brews, and connect directly with Island chefs, farmers, and producers.

Beef and Brews will also feature a live musical performance from Richard Wood! For over three decades, 5x ECMA, multi-Music PEI Award-winning Richard Wood has blown away sold-out audiences around the globe with his traditional-borne, fiery-brand of Celtic music.  Career highlights include performances at the Kennedy Center, DisneyWorld, the Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and on televised programs: Good Morning America, The David Letterman Show, Up Home Tonight, and Rita & Friends. From winning countless step-dancing and fiddling championships to being named in MacLean’s Magazine’s Top Canadians to watch in the 21st Century, Richard has shared stages and tour buses with A-Listers like The Chieftains, Rita MacNeil, the Barra MacNeils, Ron Hynes, the Rankin Family, and Shania Twain.  Richard has played for King Charles III, Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth II, William and Kate (Prince & Princess of Wales), Prime Ministers, Senators, Governor-Generals, and the Emperor of Japan, but he is most proud to have entertained Canada’s Armed Forces in the North Pole, Bosnia, & twice in Afghanistan.

To enhance the experience, a live video feed from the catering space will be streamed into the dining and entertainment areas, giving guests a behind-the-scenes look at the culinary action as it happens, allowing guests to feel fully immersed in the event through large-scale audiovisual elements showcased throughout the evening.

Also available: Beef and Brews Overnight Accommodation on Friday, October 2nd at the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Summerside at The Credit Union Place. A 1 night stay in one of our 1 King Bed Ocean View Rooms or a 1 night stay in one of our 2 Bed Queen Size Rooms. Upon check-in guests will receive a bottle of red or white wine and chocolate covered strawberries. This accommodation does not include a ticket to the Beef and Brews experience. Beef and Brews tickets are sold separately.
