Get ready for an epic food adventure at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Prince Edward! Culinary Federation of PEI Chef’s Island brings together the best of PEI’s culinary scene for a night of flavour-packed fun! Chef’s Island will feature a variety of food stations including custom mocktail pairings located throughout the ballroom.
A reception will take place beginning at 6:00 p.m., with musical entertainment from Luka Hall. As guests move into the main event (7:00-9:00pm), they visit the 10 food stations, enjoying small plates & mocktail pairings, while interacting with our chefs. Throughout the main event, chefs will go head-to-head in a series of Quick-fire Challenges featuring core Food Island ingredients. Guests can experience the competition live on the 360 stage (which will be at floor level) or by viewing the large screens in the room. Four chefs will go head-to-head and prepare four main course plates and 10 mini plates using local ingredients over the course of 60 minutes, all vying for the top prize of $1,000 and a trip to the 2025 Culinary Federation National Conference! The event host, Rob Barry, will provide a play-by-play of the competitions and casual chef interviews throughout the night. We will have two opportunities for guests to create memories with a 360 Spin Booth & Photobooth with props (keepsake photo strips provided)!
